The Ikaztegia, or Coal Museum, is an open-air interpretation center where you can learn how, not many years ago, charcoal was obtained from the wood left over in the forests.

It includes all the phases of obtaining charcoal through real-size charcoal constructions.
The cabin where the charcoal burners lived during the time they spent in the forest has also been recreated. You can also see the tools used.

Annually, in the month of December celebrates the lighting of the charcoal, a cultural event, giving recognition and memory to a prominent member of society, which each year becomes one of the friends and ambassadors of IrriSarri Land.
